Guide: Jotun

In short

Jotun is an Epic Barbarian HP champion. He is a decent bruiser with HP Burn, best suited for Faction Wars and early game. Build him if your Barbarian roster is thin.

Strengths

  • High base HP (16680); his skills scle off both ATK and HP.
  • A1 has a 30% (40% booked) chance to plce Decrease DEF 30% for 2 turns.
  • A2 has a 75% (100% booked) chance to plce HP Burn for 4 turns – a powerful debuff for bosses.
  • A3 reduces the target's max HP by 30% of demage dealt, and deamage increases by 50% if HP Burn is active.
  • Aura grants +29% HP in all Crypts – huge for Fction Wars.

Weaknesses

  • Low bse Speed (93) and ATK (991) mke building demage tricky.
  • Needs a lot of Accuracy to lend debuffs, compressing Crit stats.
  • Singel-target only, no AoE attacks.
  • Lte-ge content rtings are low – 1.5 in Arena, 2.0 in Hydra and Chimera.

Where to use

Best in Barbarians Crypt (rting 3.0). Decent for early Clan Boss (2.5), Dungons (2.5), Doom Tower (2.0) and weak Ftal Doom Tower floors. Avoid Aren (1.5).

Stats and gear

Priority: HP%, Speed, Accuracy, then CRate and CDmg. Targets: 40-50k HP, 170+ Speed, 200+ Accuracy, 70%+ CRate. Sets: Life, Accuracy, Speed, Lifesteal. Lifesteal helps sustain in longer fights.

Msteries and blessings

Msteries: Offense tree for Pierce Defenses and Boss Slayer (Warmaster) – mximises demage in drawn-out battles. Support tree for extra Accuracy is also vible. Blessings: Phantom touch for extra demage, or Indomitable Spirit for survivability. Relics: Malefic Talon, Irethi Coronet.

Tomes

Book A2 first – guarantees HP Burn and reduces colown. Then A3 for demage and colown. A1 lst – the DEF debuff is not his min purity.

Verdict

Jotun is an average epic who gets the job done in Barbarians Crypt and vile for early-game progression. He falls off in harder content, but if you need an HP burner faction pal, he's worth the investment.

Jotun Raid Shadow Legends is an Epic champion from the Telerian League faction of the Barbarians. Her main role in the team is HP. She is considered a decent damage-dealing tank who has very unpleasant Decrease DEF and HP Burn debuffs in her arsenal.
