Guide: Knacker

In short

Knacker is an Uncommon Attack champion of the Lizardmen with Magic affinity. His kit is three hits on a single target with the A1 and an A2 that strips two random buffs; nothing here stands out for bosses or PvP. The site author's verdict is blunt: food, and that is the best use for him.

Strengths

  • A1 hits three times per turn — handy for chewing through shields and hit counters where every hit matters.
  • A2 removes 2 random buffs; on an Uncommon that is rare utility for early Arena and buff-heavy defences.
  • Uncommon rarity: cheap to level, cheap to ascend, zero entry cost.
  • Lizardmen faction — can plug an empty slot in early Faction Wars while your roster is thin.

Weaknesses

  • Very low base stats: 1255 ATK, 639 DEF and 89 SPD — slow and squishy at the same time.
  • No debuffs, no team buffs, no passive — just damage and a buff strip.
  • Rated 0.5 almost everywhere: Clan Boss, Hydra, Chimera, Arena, Hard, Doom Tower, Faction Wars.
  • Hits his ceiling fast; any proper damage dealer outclasses him several times over.

Where to use

Dungeons is the only category above 0.5 (1.0). There he works as a stopgap damage dealer on early waves and as a buff stripper until something better shows up. In Faction Wars he is a warm body to fill the team. In Arena he only makes sense against low-level defences stacked with shields, and only at the very start. Clan Boss, Hydra, Chimera, Hard and Doom Tower are a waste of a slot — 0.5 across the board.

Stats and gear

The site author gives no build — nobody writes one for food. If you truly have nobody else: speed first, then Accuracy for the buff strip, then ATK and crit. Rough early targets: SPD 150–170, ACC 100+, C.RATE 70–100%, C.DMG whatever you can get. Sets: any cheap ones — Speed plus Perception or Accuracy, and Lifesteal early on if you need him to survive.

Masteries and blessings

Do not spend scrolls on him; they belong to Epics and Legendaries. If he is actually in your team, take the standard Offense tree with crit nodes plus Support for Accuracy. Skip blessings too — a cheap damage bonus will not change anything.

Tombs

Books on the A1 only add +5% damage per level, which is junk. The one meaningful upgrade is the sixth level of the A2, cutting its cooldown by 1. Only book the A2 if you genuinely need that strip right now; otherwise save the books for champions who will stay in your roster.

Verdict

Food, no caveats: feed him for levels or use him as a temporary body in dungeons and Faction Wars during your first hours.
