Aina — guide

In short

Aina is an Epic Attack champion from the Barbarians with Magic affinity. Her kit is pure selfish damage: two 6.4×ATK nukes, one of which applies a 60% Decrease DEF before the hit lands, plus a 25% Weaken. She is at her best on Clan Boss and Chimera — the house verdict is that she belongs in the Vault as fusion fodder unless you have nothing better.

Strengths

• Two damage skills at 6.4×ATK — on paper that is real Epic nuker territory.
• Decrease DEF 60% for 3 turns is applied before the attack, so her own hit already lands into shredded defence.
• Weaken 25% for 3 turns on her A2 lifts the whole team's damage on Clan Boss and in dungeons.
• A1 hits twice, which means more mastery procs on bosses and more rolls on the 10% extra turn chance.
• +40 ACC aura for allies in Crypts, plus a 10% heal of damage dealt on her A3.

Weaknesses

• Zero team support: no buffs, no Turn Meter manipulation, no control — just personal damage and two debuffs.
• Extremely squishy at 15 855 HP and 760 DEF with 105 base SPD; she folds to the first focus.
• Before books her debuff chance is only 80%, so some casts simply whiff.
• Close to useless in Hydra, Hard mode, Doom Tower and Arena (2.0–2.5 ratings).

Where to use

Her main homes are Clan Boss (4.0) and Chimera (4.0) — that is where her debuffs and high multipliers pay off. In dungeons (3.0) she is a fine damage dealer but slow at clearing waves. Arena and Faction Wars (2.5 each) are situational at best, and Hydra, Hard mode and Doom Tower (2.0 each) are a hard skip.

Stats and gear

Stat priority: cap C.RATE at 100% first, otherwise all that 6.4×ATK damage falls apart, then stack C.DMG, ATK% and SPD.

• C.RATE — exactly 100%, rule number one for Aina.
• C.DMG — 200%+ (C.DMG gloves, ATK% chest, SPD boots).
• ACC — 200–250 so Weaken and Decrease DEF land reliably on Clan Boss and dungeon bosses.
• SPD — 170–200 to cycle her A2 and A3 more often.
• Sets: Savage + Cruel for maximum crit damage; if ACC is short, top it up with Perception or Accuracy.

Masteries and blessings

Take the Attack tree (Pierce Defenses, Boss Slayer and the crit damage nodes) and the Defence tree via Retribution for extra turns and counterattacks. Blessing: Cruelty. Relics worth a look: Malefic Talon and Irethi Coronet.

Tomes

Book her A3 first: the books push the debuff chance from 80% to 100% and add damage — that skill is what makes her playable. Then the A2 for consistent Weaken, and the A1 last since it only adds damage and a bit of extra-turn chance. If she is going to the Vault or a fusion, hold the books instead.

Verdict

A mid-tier Epic with two solid nukes and no team value: she can still pull her weight on Clan Boss and Chimera, but everywhere else she is Vault or fusion material.
