In short
Bystophus is a Legendary Attack champion from the Knights Revenant with a great aura: +70 Accuracy for the whole team in all battles. He shines mostly in Arena and Faction Wars, while he is nearly useless in Clan Boss and Hydra. Build priority is Speed and Accuracy for his debuffs, not raw damage.
Strengths
- +70 Accuracy aura for all allies — a huge gear saving for the whole squad, especially debuffers.
- Block Active Skills for 1–2 turns with a decent chance: it breaks enemy rotations in Arena.
- Shadow Strike crits targets that have Block Active Skills and heals Bystophus for 20% of damage dealt.
- Crush also applies 60% Decrease DEF for 2 turns — a solid setup for focus fire.
- Decent 1,795 base Attack and 63% base C. DMG.
Weaknesses
- Average damage dealer: 3.3–3.7× ATK multipliers are not impressive, and base Speed is only 94.
- Damage and debuffs depend on Accuracy — without it half his kit fails.
- Low 804 Defense and 14,700 HP: he dies fast, especially in long fights.
- Base 30 Resistance and 10 Accuracy — everything must come from gear.
Where to use
Best in Arena (4/5) and Faction Wars (4/5): his Block Active Skills and Decrease DEF really matter there. In regular dungeons and hard content he is around 3/5, same in Chimera. But in Clan Boss (2/5), Hydra (2/5) and Doom Tower (2/5) he is weak — those need different mechanics.
Stats and gear
Speed first — aim for 200+ for Arena, then Accuracy 250–300 so debuffs land reliably. Next C. RATE 100% and C. DMG 150%+, Attack as high as you can. Sets: Offense, Accuracy, Lifesteal (for survivability), Savage or Cruel for damage, Divine Offense and Perception. Relics: Orb of Transfixion, Wand of Submission, Perched Shadow.
Masteries and blessings
Go down the Offense tree: Invigorated, Targetfinder, Expeditious Exploitation, Gathering Momentum. That gives Accuracy, Speed and growing damage over the fight. Blessings — pick damage/Accuracy ones if available; no critical unique blessing.
Tomes
Book Shadow Strike first — it gets −1 Cooldown and +20% damage at the last level, and it is his main AoE. Then Crush: +25% debuff chance and +15% damage greatly improve consistency.
Verdict
Vault (fusion): an average damage dealer with a good aura, but no wow factor. Keep him for the aura and Arena, don't invest in him as your main fighter.
