Perforator — guide
Guide: Perforator
In short
Perforator is a Rare Attack champion of the Dwarves faction with Force affinity. He has exactly one home — the Dwarves Faction Crypt, where his first-hit passive and his DEF-ignoring A2 still do some work. Build him as a plain nuker if at all: C.RATE, C.DMG, ATK, SPD.
Strengths
- Hardened Arrows ignores 50% of the target's DEF — noticeable against armoured dungeon and Crypt mobs.
- The same A2 grants an extra turn if the enemy dies, which helps clear waves.
- Intimidation passive hits every enemy 50% harder on the first hit — a decent opening volley.
- A1 can land a 5% Poison — small, but free.
- His best score is Faction Wars, 4/5, which is respectable for a Rare.
Weaknesses
- Low base stats: 1,277 ATK and 86 SPD is thin for a damage dealer — gear has to fix everything.
- 15% base C.RATE and 57% C.DMG means you build him from scratch.
- A 5% Poison for 1 turn at a 30% chance barely matters.
- He falls off in harder content: Hydra 2.5, Hard 2.0.
Where to use
Mainly Faction Wars (4/5) to grab a few early stars. Dungeons, Arena, Clan Boss and Chimera sit at 3/5 — a starter filler at best. Hydra (2.5) and Hard mode (2.0) are not his content, and Doom Tower (2.5) has better options.
Stats and gear
- C.RATE to 100% first — no nuker works without it.
- C.DMG as high as possible afterwards.
- ATK — his damage scalar, stack ATK%.
- SPD — 170–200 so he actually takes turns in FW.
- ACC — 100–150 only if you care about the A1 poisons; the payoff is small.
- Sets: Savage/Cruel (or any offense set) for damage, Speed/Perception for speed and accuracy.
- Recommended relics from the build: Malefic Talon and Gorecrescent.
Masteries and blessings
Go down Offense: Pierce Defenses, Foekiller, Piercing Strike and Bloodthirsty Prowess — a straightforward damage package for his A2 and passive. Finish the tree with a damage capstone (Helmsmasher or Warmaster as it suits you) and put leftovers into Defense or Support. For blessings, take something offensive, but investing heavily in a Rare fodder champ is rarely worth it.
Tombs and books
The only real upgrade is A2 at level 5: cooldown −1. Tomes are better spent on proper damage dealers, so only book A2 if you are keeping him for Faction Wars.
Verdict
Fodder. Use him in the Dwarves Faction Crypt early on, then feed him away — he is not worth investment.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
