Old Hermit Jorrg — guide
Guide: Old Hermit Jorrg
In short
Old Hermit Jorrg is an Epic Magic Support Orc whose main selling point is a double revive: Ghostly Stride brings back two random allies at 60% HP, fills their turn meters by 40% and puts Veil on them for 2 turns. His second tool is Heroes of Old — team-wide Increase ATK 50% for 2 turns plus a 20% turn meter fill. Build him for Speed and survivability so the revive and buffs come back as often as possible.
Strengths
- Revives two allies with one skill: 60% HP, +40% turn meter and Veil, so they are immediately back in the fight and protected from control.
- Heroes of Old gives the whole team Increase ATK 50% and a 20% turn meter fill; booked, the cooldown drops to 3 turns.
- Default attack with a 30% chance to place HP Burn for 2 turns — with Accuracy built he adds steady passive damage on bosses.
- High base HP (16,350) and the best revive the Orcs have for Faction Wars.
Weaknesses
- Low base Speed (104) — without Speed gear the revive arrives too late.
- The revive targets randomly; you don't choose who comes back.
- No healing and no debuff removal, so a healer and a cleanser still need a slot.
- Falls off in Hard mode and high Doom Tower floors, where damage and durability matter more.
Where to use
Best in Clan Boss (4.5): constant Increase ATK and a revive when the tank drops. Next is Arena (4.0), where the turn meter fill and revive work on both offense and defense, and Faction Wars (4.0), where he solves the Orc revive problem. Chimera sits at 3.5. Middling in Hydra (3.0), Dungeons (3.0) and Doom Tower (3.0). His weak spot is Hard mode (2.0), which rewards raw damage over revives.
Stats and gear
Priority: Speed → HP% → Accuracy. Rough targets: 200–250 Speed, 60–80k HP, 2.5–3k DEF, 200+ Accuracy if you want the HP Burn from his default attack to land. Crit Rate and Crit Damage are not needed. Sets from the list: Speed or Divine Speed, plus Perception for Speed and Accuracy in one; Life or Immortal for bulk; Accuracy to support his A1; Lifesteal is a fine pick for solo runs.
Masteries and blessings
Main tree is Support: Invigorated, Revival Blessing, Gathering Momentum. Fill the second tree with durability so he doesn't get focused down before the revive is ready. Relics from the list: Journal of Necrotos, Demonic Effigy, Wand of Submission.
Tombs
Tombs are worth it here and the author says so outright. Start with Heroes of Old (cooldown 5 → 3): the buff and turn meter fill then run almost without downtime. Then Ghostly Stride (7 → 5) for a faster revive. Leave the default attack for last — books there only add debuff chance and damage.
Verdict
A top-tier Epic for Orcs and Clan Boss: two-target revive, team Increase ATK and turn meter fill. Level him up and don't hold back the books.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
