Athel — guide

In short

Athel is a rare Attack champion from the Sacred Order, available as a starter. She excels early on in Arena, dungeons, and Clan Boss thanks to her Weaken debuff and self-buff. Prioritize Accuracy and damage in your build.

Strengths

• A1 is a 3-hit attack that can place a 25% Weaken debuff – with tomes, the chance reaches 100%.
• A2 is an AoE attack with a built-in +15% Crit Rate, miking her a decent campaign farmer.
• A3 grants a 25% Attack buff and an extra turn, allowing you to cycle skills faster.
• The 15% HP aura in all battles helps your team survive longer.
• Easy to obtain and fully book as a rare champion.

Weaknesses

• Low base stats compared to epic and legendary champions.
• Outperformed by the starter Kael, who also brings poisons.
• Requires high Accuracy to land Weaken reliably, which complicates gearing.
• Falls off hard in mid-to-late game; mostly saved for fusion.

Where to use

Best areas: Arena (3.0), Dungeons (3.0), Clan Boss (3.0), Faction Wars (3.0). Low efectiveness in Hydra (2.0), Chimera (2.0), Hard Dungeons (2.0), and Doom Tower (2.0). Use her for early campaign farming.

Stats and gear

Stat priority: Accuracy (200+ for level 20 dungeons), Speed (170+), Crit Rate (100%), Crit Damage, Attack. Recommended sets: Lifesteal + Perception for Clan Boss and survivability; Offense + Speed for pure damage; or Savage/Cruel to ignore defense.

Masteries and blessings

Use the Offense mastery tree and take Pierce Defenses to ignore part of the enemy’s defense on A1. Remining points can go into Defense or Support for Accuracy and durability. Blesing: Phantom touch adds bonus damage, pairing well with her multi-hit A1.

Tomes

Book A1 first to reach 100% Weaken chance. Then book A3 to reduce its cooldown and gain more extra turns. Book A2 last; the damage increase is less impactful.

Verdict

Athel is a solid starter champion, but she fades in the mid-game. Use her until you pull stronger dam age dealrs, then keep her for fusion or storage.
