Fenshi — guide
Guide: Fenshi
In short
Fenshi is an Epic Attack champion of the Knights Revenant with the Force affinity, built around Poison and turn meter reduction. He shines in Clan Boss and Faction Wars, where his DEF ignore and debuffs actually pay off. Build priority: 100% C.RATE and C.DMG first, then ACC and SPD.
Strengths
- Killer's Spite hits twice and each hit places a 5% Poison for 3 turns, while he ignores 10% of the target's DEF for every Poison on it — against a poisoned boss his damage climbs fast.
- End of the Line lands 3 hits with a 50% chance each to reduce turn meter by 15% — up to ~45% per cast, brutal against bosses and tanky waves.
- Blades of Hatred hits 3 times with a 30% chance to place a 30% Decrease SPD for 2 turns — a reliable, useful debuff.
- No dead skills: all three work toward the same goal, pressuring a single target and stacking Poison.
- Solid Faction Wars piece (3.5/5) as the faction's damage dealer.
Weaknesses
- Squishy: 738 DEF, 16,515 HP and only 97 base SPD — one bad wave and he's gone.
- Poison is only 5%: as a main boss damage source it's thin, he lacks 2.5% Poison or HP Burn.
- No AoE and no area control — Arena (2.0) and Hydra (2.0) are not his content.
- Damage scales off ATK while his debuffs want ACC, so his stat budget is split.
Where to use
Clan Boss first (3.5/5) — that's where Poison, DEF ignore and turn meter reduction come together. Second, Faction Wars (3.5/5), where he fills the damage slot. In Chimera (3.0) and dungeons (3.0) he works as a second or third damage dealer, and in Doom Tower (2.5) as a single-target pick. Arena (2.0), Hydra (2.0) and hard modes (2.0) are his weak spots — bring someone else there.
Stats and gear
- C.RATE — exactly 100%, otherwise C.DMG is wasted.
- C.DMG — 150–200%+.
- ACC — 200–250 for Ultra Nightmare Clan Boss, 150–180 for dungeons.
- SPD — 170–200, tuned to your Clan Boss setup.
- ATK — as high as possible; take HP/DEF only from substats.
- Sets: Savage or Cruel plus Crit Damage; Offense is fine early, and a 2-piece Perception covers accuracy.
- Relics from the build: Malefic Talon and Irethi Coronet.
Masteries and blessings
Go down the Offense tree for damage and use Support for debuff accuracy and survivability. From the build list take Pierce Defenses and Boss Slayer. As a general rule, the tier-6 pick is a boss-damage mastery (Warmaster or Giant Slayer depending on your setup), and Support closes out with the debuff-placement talents. The build list doesn't name a blessing, so pick along the same lines: something that boosts damage or helps land his debuffs.
Tombs
Book Killer's Spite first: it gains damage and, most importantly, a cooldown reduction at the last rank, so his Poison and DEF ignore come around more often. Then End of the Line for the cooldown and turn meter chance. Leave Blades of Hatred for last — it's only damage percentages and the debuff chance.
Verdict
Level him: a mid-tier Epic who does honest work in Clan Boss and Faction Wars. Don't expect versatility — he's a narrow but useful boss specialist.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
