Countess Lix — guide
Guide: Countess Lix
In short
Countess Lix is a Legendary Magic Attack champion from the Demons faction whose value is control, not damage numbers: an AoE speed debuff with turn meter cuts, Block Non-Basic Skills, and cooldown reduction for the whole team. She lives in the Arena and stays useful in Hydra, Chimera, dungeons and Faction Wars. Build priority: Accuracy and Speed first, damage second.
Strengths
- A3 is an AoE with a 75% chance to place Block Non-Basic Skills for 2 turns and, more importantly, it cuts 1 turn of cooldown for every ally except herself — a team-wide tempo boost.
- A2 hits all enemies three times, each hit with a 75% chance for −30% SPD for 2 turns and a 75% chance to reduce turn meter by 10%. Control and TM denial in one button.
- Her passive fills 5% of her turn meter every time an ally receives a debuff, so against debuff-heavy teams she cycles fast.
- With Astralon on the team, her other passive strips a random debuff from herself and from him at the start of each turn.
- Healthy HP base (17 175) for an Attack champion — she survives stray AoE.
Weaknesses
- DEF 936 and ATK 1 498: she hits softly and folds quickly under focus.
- Base SPD 100 is slow — without speed gear she simply acts after the enemy.
- Without Astralon the cleanse passive does nothing at all.
- Clan Boss (2.5/5) is not her mode: no poisons or HP burn, and Block Non-Basic Skills means nothing to a boss.
Where to use
Arena (4.5/5) is home: blocking non-basic skills and cutting turn meter breaks enemy combos, and the cooldown reduction lets your side out-tempo them. Next come Hydra (4.0), Chimera (4.0), dungeons (4.0) and Faction Wars (4.0), where her AoE control is consistently useful. In Doom Tower (3.5) she is a stage-specific pick, she drops off in Hard modes (3.0), and Clan Boss (2.5) is a skip.
Stats and gear
Priority: Accuracy → Speed → survivability. Aim for 250+ ACC for dungeons and Hydra, 350–400+ for high Arena and Doom Tower where enemies carry RES — all her debuffs sit on 75% base chance and simply miss without it. Push SPD to 220–250+ with speed boots; the 100 base needs help. After that, add HP/DEF so she doesn't die to the first splash. C.RATE and C.DMG only if you want her AoE to actually hurt — not mandatory. Sets: Accuracy, Perception, Frenzy. Relics: Tempus Sanguinis, Orb of Transfixion, Perched Shadow.
Masteries and blessings
Key picks from the list: Invigorated, Targetfinder, Expeditious Exploitation, Gathering Momentum. General logic: offence masteries for AoE damage plus support/utility masteries for accuracy and staying alive, so the debuffs land and she reaches her turn. No specific blessing is locked in for her — take one that patches Accuracy or keeps her on the field.
Tomes
Book A3 first: levels 5 and 6 each cut 1 turn of cooldown (7 → 5) and the debuff chance rises to 100%. Then A2, which loses 1 turn of cooldown at level 5 and also reaches 100% on its debuffs. A1 (50% Weakness at best) isn't worth tomes.
Verdict
Definitely build her — she is top-tier alongside Astralon, and even solo she is a solid Arena controller and a useful support in Hydra and dungeons.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
