Grohak the Bloodied — guide
Guide: Grohak the Bloodied
In short
Grohak the Bloodied is a Legendary Attack champion of the Orcs with Magic affinity, and his entire kit runs on Turn Meter: he drops Decrease SPD, refills his own bar off enemy debuffs and steals Turn Meter outright. He shines in the Arena and Faction Wars, but as a damage dealer he is mediocre. Build him for Speed and Accuracy first, raw Attack comes later.
Strengths
- Second skill hits all enemies and fills his Turn Meter by 20% for each enemy under Decrease SPD — with a wide debuff he moves again almost immediately.
- Third skill attacks a target and steals its Turn Meter, which breaks the enemy's key turn and pulls Grohak forward.
- His passive grants allies +24% Speed in Dungeons — a useful aura even if his damage does not carry.
- His A1 strikes random targets twice, each hit with a 35% chance to place a 30% Decrease SPD for 2 turns — it sets up his own AoE.
- He is a Legendary Orc, so he earns points in Faction Wars.
Weaknesses
- Damage is so-so: 1,487 base Attack at 6★ and only 15% base C.RATE — as a nuker he disappoints, especially against Clan Boss.
- His 96 Speed is low; without external support he never gets to play his own game.
- With 10 Accuracy, the Decrease SPD from his A1 rarely lands, and without that debuff his AoE does nothing.
- He is condition-dependent: the combo spans several turns and is easy to outlast.
Where to use
Best area is Arena (4.0) — Turn Meter theft plus Decrease SPD genuinely disrupts enemy turn order. Next comes Faction Wars (3.5), where he contributes both the aura and the control. In Chimera, Dungeons and Doom Tower (3.0 each) he is a solid average pick, not a damage source. Weak in Clan Boss (2.0), Hard content (2.0) and Hydra (2.5), where his debuff does not pay off.
Stats and gear
Priority: Speed (200+, 230+ for Arena) → Accuracy (200–250 so Decrease SPD lands reliably) → 100% C.RATE → C.DMG 150%+ → ATK%. On sets: Speed and Perception for Speed with Accuracy, Savage or Cruel for damage, plus Attack% sets — which is exactly what the site's build notes point at. Relics: Malefic Talon, Irethi Coronet, The Cat's Gaze.
Masteries and blessings
Attack tree first: Pierce Defenses and Boss Slayer, handy if you take him into dungeons and boss fights. Second tree into survivability plus Accuracy/Speed. For blessings, take general debuffer picks — Accuracy and Turn Meter control options.
Tomes
If you book him at all, start with the third skill to level 5 for the −1 cooldown: more frequent Turn Meter theft is his whole trick. Then the AoE for damage, the A1 last. Given the verdict, tomes are better spent elsewhere.
Verdict
Vault (fusion): a mediocre damage dealer, worth building only for the fusion or if you have nobody else for Orcs in Faction Wars.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
