Strengths

Where to use
Best areas: Clan Boss (3.5), Arena (3.0), Dungeons (3.0), and Faction Wars (3.0). Alright in Doom Tower (2.5), but weak in Hydra (2.0), Chimera (2.0), and Hard mode (2.0).
Stats and gear
Priority: SPD (170+), ACC (150+ for Clan Boss), C.RATE (100%), C.DMG, ATK%. Recommended sets: Lifesteal, Speed, Accuracy. For pure Arena, Speed and Attack sets.
Masteries and blessings
Masteries: Offense tree — Pierce Defenses, Pouncing Strike, Boss Slayer. Blessing: Phantom Touch for extra damage.
Tomes
Book A3 (Disintegrate) first to reduce its cooldown and increase poison chance. Then A2 for damge, and A1 last.
Verdict
Kael is a must-build starter champion that remains useful for a long time. His poison damge and versatility make him an excellent choice for most PvE content.

Kael is a versatile champion who can be used in various builds regardless of where he is deployed, making him one of the best Rare champions for early and mid-game use. He is excellent in a speed build for the Arena, where he goes last to secure the final kill after his allies buff him and debuff enemies. If Kael manages to kill several enemies on his turn, he can quickly finish off the remaining ones. Kael can also be used in a speed build and a counterattack build on the Clan Boss to deal massive Poison damage. Works up to Clan Boss 6.
