Headsman — guide
Guide: Headsman
In short
Headsman is a Rare Attack champion of the Sacred Order with Spirit affinity. His one real job is an AoE with 100% Heal Reduction plus a passive that adds 15% damage to Heal-Reduced targets, but the base kit (1,354 ATK, 100 SPD) is too thin for serious content. Build priority: none — cheap Faction Wars gear at most, otherwise he is fusion material.
Strengths
- An all-enemy AoE with a 30% chance (50% booked) to place 100% Heal Reduction for 2 turns — a real debuff against healing waves.
- Passive Verdict gives +15% damage to targets under Heal Reduction, so his own AoE sets it up and cashes it in.
- A1 hits twice, each hit with a 10% chance of Fear for 1 turn — occasional turn denial.
- His best rating is 2.0/5 in Faction Wars, and that is genuinely his ceiling.
Weaknesses
- 1,354 ATK and 100 SPD at 6★ — below average even for Rare damage dealers, and nothing in the kit scales him up.
- Base 15% C.RATE and 57% C.DMG: without gear he deals no damage, and gear is wasted on him.
- All his utility is one debuff at a 30% base chance; there is nothing else in the kit.
- Arena 0.5, Clan Boss 1.0 and Hydra 1.0 — he just occupies a slot there.
Where to use
Start and stop with Faction Wars (2.0), where he can strip healing from an annoying stage. Chimera (1.5) is the second option if you have nobody else for the debuff. Dungeons, Doom Tower and Hard mode (1.0 each) only on a very fresh account. Arena (0.5), Clan Boss and Hydra (1.0 each) — skip him entirely.
Stats and gear
The build list contains no artifact sets at all, which is the honest signal: nobody gives him a real build. If you do use him in Faction Wars, speed first, accuracy second, damage last.
- Speed boots, roughly 170–200 SPD so the AoE lands before enemy healing.
- Accuracy around 150–200, otherwise Heal Reduction will not stick on later stages.
- ATK% on gloves and ring, C.RATE up to 100%, C.DMG with whatever is left.
- Sets: Speed, Accuracy, Perception — cheap and exactly on task.
Masteries and blessings
The build lists only Pierce Defenses, plus the Malefic Talon relic. Take the Offense tree with it and stop there — do not burn gems or scrolls on him. No blessing is listed in the data; if you must, use a cheap rank-1 blessing and leave it.
Tomes
Full booking costs 10 Rare tomes, which is not worth it. If you commit anyway, book the A2 first: Heal Reduction chance goes from 30% to 50%, the only meaningful gain. Leave the A1 (Fear chance +10%) for last — +5% damage steps do not justify tomes.
Verdict
Vault, then fusion. Headsman does not repay gear, tomes or masteries — keep him for Faction Wars or as fusion food.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.

Verdict (Passive)
Cat — a Rare hero from the Sacred Order faction in Raid: Shadow Legends, belonging to the Spirit element and serving as an Attack hero. He has two active and one passive skill. A hulking executioner with a two-handed axe, designed to execute your enemies. Fully upgrading all of the hero's skills requires 10 Rare Tomes. This hero was added to the game on 05.10.2020.
