Pathfinder Cait — guide
Guide: Pathfinder Cait
In short
Pathfinder Cait is a Rare Magic Attack champion from the Wood Elves who lives on two debuffs: Block Buffs on her default and a cooldown increase on her all-enemy AoE. Her damage is low, so she is built as a cheap debuffer for Faction Wars rather than as a nuker. Keep investment minimal.
Strengths
- Her second skill hits all enemies and has up to a 50% chance to extend the cooldown of a random skill on each target by 2 turns — brutal against teams that rely on one key ability.
- The default attack has up to a 25% chance to place Block Buffs for 2 turns, stopping enemies from re-applying buffs and shutting down buffers and healers.
- The passive grants Veil for 1 turn after a kill, which occasionally saves her during wave clears.
- Rare rarity: easy to book and rank up, and she fills a Faction Wars slot without spending legendary resources.
Weaknesses
- Only 1 288 base Attack — even in good gear her damage is negligible.
- Debuff chances are not guaranteed, and without Accuracy both skills simply miss.
- 95 Speed is slow, so she rarely gets turns.
- In hard content (Chimera, Hard mode, Doom Tower) she rates 1.0–1.5 — she has no place there.
Where to use
Her best home is Faction Wars (3.0): she fills a slot and annoys enemy waves on the way. In Arena (2.5), especially 3v3, she works as a spot debuffer against teams built around a single important skill. Clan Boss, Hydra and dungeons (2.0) only if you have literally nothing else for the slot. Chimera (1.5), Hard mode and Doom Tower (1.0) — skip.
Stats and gear
Build for Attack but prioritise Speed and Accuracy: ATK% gloves and ring, C.RATE up to 100%, C.DMG, SPD boots, Accuracy banner. Rough targets: SPD 170–200, Accuracy 150–200 for Faction Wars and dungeons, C.RATE 100%, C.DMG 130–180%, Attack as high as you can get. Sets: Speed + Perception (or Savage + Cruel if you want any damage at all). Relics from the build: Orb of Transfixion and Perched Shadow.
Masteries and blessings
The build's core is Invigorated, Targetfinder, Expeditious Exploitation and Gathering Momentum — damage and speed, no tank investment. Round it out with the standard nuker skeleton and don't waste points on defence: she survives through Speed and debuffs, not stats. Blessing: Phantom Touch, the simplest way to add a little damage.
Tombs
If you keep her for Faction Wars, book the second skill first: its extension chance goes up and the final level cuts 1 turn off its own cooldown. Book the default only afterwards, for the extra +20% Block Buffs chance. Honestly though, save your tomes for champions who actually play in Clan Boss and dungeons.
Verdict
Fodder. Keep her purely for a Faction Wars slot and don't feed her good gear or books — Pathfinder Cait doesn't offer more than that.

The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
