Guide: Pathfinder
In short
Pathfinder is a Common Magic Attack champion from the Dark Elves. His entire kit is one single-target hit with a 15% chance to place a 2.5% Poison for 2 turns, so he brings neither damage nor utility. The site author's call is simple: food — rank him only to feed better champions.
Strengths
- Cheap to build and ascend: Common rarity means low investment and a fast source of food for ranking up real champions.
- His Poisoned Arrow is his only debuff, but a 2.5% Poison still ticks on bosses that aren't poison-immune in the very early game.
- Magic affinity gives him an edge against Spirit enemies in the early campaign.
- Fills a Dark Elves slot in the first Faction Wars stages if your roster is completely empty.
Weaknesses
- Very low base stats: 815 ATK, 672 DEF, 96 SPD — he neither hits nor cycles turns.
- The Poison is the weakest tier (2.5%) and lands at 15%, capped at 30% with full skill upgrades.
- No AoE, no buffs, no control, no healing — just a single-target attack.
- Ratings of 0.5–1 in Clan Boss, Hydra, Arena, dungeons and Doom Tower show he fills no role anywhere.
Where to use
Faction Wars (1/5) is his "best" area, and only as a filler body in the opening stages. Clan Boss (1/5): his Poison is far too weak and unreliable to matter. Arena, dungeons, Hydra, Chimera and Doom Tower sit at 0.5/5 — leave him out. Real use: campaign farming and rank-up material.
Stats and gear
The site gives no build, and that's the point. If you absolutely must field him early, push SPD first (speed boots), then ACC so the Poison actually lands, then ATK; ignore C.RATE and C.DMG. From general knowledge, Speed and Perception sets fit, but no gear above 3–4 stars should go on him.
Masteries and blessings
None are worth the scrolls. If an Offense tree is already open from farming, take the basic damage nodes and skip the rest. Don't put a blessing on him — the slot is wasted on a champion you'll feed away.
Tomes
Don't spend a single one. His upgrades are mostly +5% damage, and the only meaningful one is the final +5%/+10% debuff chance, which pushes the Poison to 30% — still not worth a Rare Tome.
Verdict
A textbook food champion: keep him only as rank-up material and put your resources into champions with real kits.
