Kurzad Deepheart — guide
Guide: Kurzad Deepheart
In short
Kurzad Deepheart is a Rare Void Attack champion from the Dwarves: a crit-driven debuffer who brings Decrease SPD, Decrease DEF and a team-wide Increase ACC in one kit. He shines in Faction Wars and Arena and is a great pick into Iron Twins (Void), but he is not a Clan Boss or high-difficulty damage dealer. Build him fast and accurate first, damage second.
Strengths
- A1: 2×ATK hit; a critical hit adds a second strike that places Decrease SPD 30% for 2 turns. The site author calls it his most reliable speed debuff.
- A2: 3.3×ATK AoE where every critical hit fills his own Turn Meter by 7.5% — at 100% C.RATE he takes turns constantly.
- A3: grants the team Increase ACC 50% for 2 turns, then hits all enemies with a 75% chance to place Decrease DEF 30% for 2 turns — buff and debuff on one button.
- Void affinity means no weak hits anywhere, and as a Rare he is cheap to book and ascend.
Weaknesses
- Low bases for an Attack role: 1,343 ATK and 97 SPD.
- The whole kit leans on 100% C.RATE — without it half the effects never trigger.
- Squishy: 12,225 HP and 870 DEF, and no defensive skill of his own.
- Weak ratings in Clan Boss (2.0) and Hard mode (2.0).
Where to use
Faction Wars (3.5) is his home — he debuffs and speeds himself up at the same time. Next come Classic Arena and Tag Team Arena (3.0), where the ACC buff plus AoE Decrease DEF crack open enemy teams. Chimera and Dungeons (3.0) are solid: an AoE debuffer who also buffs the team's Accuracy. Iron Twins (Void) is where the author says he is ideal. Doom Tower and Hydra (2.5) only situationally. Clan Boss and Hard mode — skip him there.
Stats and gear
Stat priority: C.RATE to 100% (the kit runs on crits), ACC 200–250 for high-end content, SPD 170–200+, then ATK% and C.DMG. Sets from the build: Accuracy, Speed, Perception, plus Stun — extra stuns off his AoE are a nice bonus. Relic: Malefic Talon.
Masteries and blessings
Take the Offense tree down to Pierce Defenses — without it high-DEF targets eat his AoE. Pick up the crit rate and crit damage nodes on the way, since both his damage and his Turn Meter come from critical hits. Blessings: Survival Instinct as the default for a fragile champion, with Faultless Defense and Hero Soul as alternatives.
Tombs
Book A3 first: the cooldown reduction and the Decrease DEF chance are the reason you bring him. Then A2 for more AoE uptime and faster Turn Meter cycling. A1 last — it only adds damage and debuff chance.
Verdict
The author's call is "build him" and "top hero": in Faction Wars, Arena and Iron Twins Kurzad delivers, as long as you hit 100% C.RATE and real Accuracy. Outside those modes don't expect miracles.

The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
