Melga Steelgirdle — guide
Guide: Melga Steelgirdle
In short
Melga Steelgirdle is an Epic Health champion of the Spirit affinity from the Dwarves faction. She brings a team Shield plus Regen on a short cooldown and a two-target revive that lands with shields, so she carries Faction Wars and any long grind. Build her first and put Tomes in without hesitating.
Strengths
- A3 revive: brings back two random allies at 20% HP and 20% turn meter, then shields them for 30% of their max HP for 2 turns — they come back ready to act.
- A2: team Shield equal to 20% of her max HP and 15% Regen for 2 turns, on a 4-turn cooldown (3 when booked).
- Aura: +15% HP in all battles — always useful, in every mode.
- A1 removes one debuff from a random ally at 50% (up to 75% booked); damage scales off her HP at 0.3×HP.
- Site author's call: top reviver, top Epic — worth maxing.
Weaknesses
- Her A1 cannot cleanse herself, so keep her out of enemy control chains.
- Revive sits on a 7-turn cooldown (5 booked) — long in extended fights.
- Almost no damage: 947 ATK and a 0.3×HP scale, she is not a damage dealer.
- Weakest in Clan Boss (2.5), where shields and revives give less than a dedicated boss support.
Where to use
Best home is Faction Wars (4.0) — Dwarves badly need this kind of support. Then Chimera (3.5), followed by a flat 3.0 across Hydra, Arena, Dungeons, Hard mode and Doom Tower. Clan Boss (2.5) is her low point.
Stats and gear
Priority: HP% on every slot → SPD → RES. Rough targets: 60–80k+ HP (shields and the revive shield scale off it), 200+ SPD so A2 and the revive come back on time, 200+ RES in control-heavy content. ACC is not needed — she puts nothing on enemies.
Sets: Life, Speed, Immunity, Immortal, Divine Life, Divine Speed, Resilience. In practice: Speed + Life or Divine Life, with Immunity for Arena.
Masteries and blessings
Support and Defence trees with a healing/survivability focus: Blessed Heal, Invigorated, Revival Blessing, Heal 'N' Go. Blessings: Chainbreaker and Commanding Presence. Relics: Demonic Effigy, Perched Shadow.
Tomes
Book A3 first: two books drop the revive cooldown from 7 to 5 turns, the single biggest upgrade. Then A2 down to a 3-turn cooldown and a maxed shield. A1 last — only damage and strip chance there.
Verdict
Site author says build her. A top-tier Epic reviver with shields and an HP aura that works in every fight.
