Nogdar the Headhunter — guide
Guide: Nogdar the Headhunter
In short
Nogdar the Headhunter is a Legendary Spirit Attack champion from the Orcs who pays for his damage with his own HP: he sacrifices half his health, but hits the whole enemy team and can drag an opponent's HP down to his own. He shines in Arena and Faction Wars and is close to useless in most PvE content. Build priority: Attack, crit, speed.
Strengths
- Ghoulish Feast hits all enemies and immediately puts two 15% [Regeneration] buffs on him for 2 turns, patching up the HP he just gave away.
- Cruel Verdict heals him for 10% of max HP and grants an extra turn if the target dies — perfect for chaining finishing blows in Arena.
- Last Rite equalizes HP between him and the target at the lower value, stripping the bulk off tanks and fat support champions.
- Passive Executioner's Turn: if he dies while all other allies are alive, he revives with 50% HP and 50% turn meter.
- Rated 4/5 in Arena and Faction Wars.
Weaknesses
- Not a single debuff — no control, no DEF down, so ACC is wasted on him and all damage is raw.
- Skills 2 and 3 each sacrifice 50% of max HP, which makes him fragile in long fights.
- Last Rite doesn't work against bosses, so Clan Boss, Hydra and Chimera are out.
- Base SPD 96 is slow, and the passive fails in teams of three or fewer or with a second Nogdar.
Where to use
Arena (4/5) first — this is his home: finish kills with the A1 extra turn and use the HP equalizer against tanks. Faction Wars (4/5) — a solid Orc damage dealer. Chimera and dungeons (2/5) only as a filler body. Doom Tower (1.5/5), Clan Boss and Hydra (1/5), Hard mode (1/5) — not his content.
Stats and gear
Priority: ATK% → C.RATE to ~100% → C.DMG → SPD. ACC is unnecessary. Rough targets: 3500–4000+ ATK, 100% C.RATE, 200%+ C.DMG, 170–200 SPD for Arena, and keep HP high because he burns it himself. Sets: Frenzy (the main pick — bonus turns after a finishing blow), Savage, Cruel, Relentless, Lethal.
Masteries and blessings
Offense tree: Piercing Strike, Bloodthirsty Prowess, Constant Onslaught, Pierce Defenses, with Foekiller as the capstone. Second tree: Defense or Support for survivability so he lives through his own sacrifices. Blessings: Soul reap for damage or Lightning cage for Arena. Relics: Malefic Talon, The Cat's Gaze, Gorecrescent.
Tomes
Book Ghoulish Feast to level 5 first — the cooldown reduction means more AoE and more regeneration. Then Last Rite: two cooldown reductions make a real difference in Arena. Cruel Verdict is last, it only gains damage.
Verdict
Site verdict: vault (fusion). He can still do work in Arena and Faction Wars, but otherwise he's fusion material.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
