Guide: Ritualist

In short

Ritualist is an Uncommon Magic Attack champion from the Barbarians. Her only real tool is a single-target Decrease DEF for 2 turns at a 75% chance on her A2; the rest of her kit is filler. Build priority: none — she is food.

Strengths

  • A 2-turn Decrease DEF is genuinely useful early on: allied damage dealers hit the marked target much harder.
  • Her A1 hits twice, which gives offensive masteries a little more room to trigger.
  • As an Uncommon she drops often and is cheap to rank up — easy stars for new accounts.
  • Magic affinity behaves fine against the green-heavy early dungeons and the campaign.

Weaknesses

  • Terrible Attack stats: 1068 ATK, 96 SPD, 782 DEF — she neither hits nor survives.
  • No AoE, no buffs, no control — just one single-target debuff.
  • The Decrease DEF sits at 75% chance, so without Accuracy it simply gets resisted in dungeons.
  • She cannot touch harder content at all — 0.5 in Clan Boss and Doom Tower.

Where to use

Her best score is Chimera (2.0), where any single-target debuff has some value. Everything else sits at a flat 1.0 — Hydra, Arena, Dungeons, Hard modes and Faction Wars. In Clan Boss and Doom Tower (0.5) she is dead weight: the damage is tiny and she dies to the first AoE. In Faction Wars you only field her for Barbarians if you have literally nobody else, and only for the earliest stages.

Stats and gear

The author lists no build — she is not worth the investment. If you still field her, go in this order:

  • SPD 170–200 (Speed boots are mandatory) so her A2 comes back more often.
  • ACC 150–200, otherwise the Decrease DEF gets resisted.
  • C.RATE 70–100% and C.DMG 100%+ — without crit, 1068 ATK deals nothing.
  • ATK% with whatever slots remain; do not chase HP or DEF, she dies anyway.

Sets: Speed plus Perception (or Accuracy) for the debuff; early campaign is easier with Lifesteal so she stays alive at all. Speed boots, C.RATE or ATK% gloves, ACC or ATK% chest.

Masteries and blessings

PVE route: Offense + Support. Key picks are Deadly Precision, Keen Strike, Cycle of Violence, Methodical and Warmaster; in Support take Pinpoint Accuracy for extra ACC. The author does not recommend the PVP tree — she is useless in Arena. Blessings are not worth it; if you have souls to burn, Cruelty adds a little extra defence shred on bosses.

Tomes

Book the A2 first: its fifth level cuts the cooldown by 1, so the Decrease DEF is available more often. After that you can finish the damage levels on the A1. Realistically, save your Uncommon tomes — other champions need them more.

Verdict

Food. Keep her as ranking material, or as a filler body for the first Faction Wars stages only.
