Guide: Misericord

In short

Misericord is a Rare Magic Attack champion from Banner Lords who buffs herself with Counterattack and 25% Increase ATK, hits one AoE and chips in a 30% Decrease SPD from her A1. Her ratings top out at 2.5 (Hydra) and sit at 1.0–2.0 everywhere else, and the site verdict is blunt: she is food. Invest only if you need a filler damage body for Faction Wars or your very first weeks.

Strengths

  • A3 gives Counterattack plus 25% Increase ATK for 2 turns at once — in longer fights those buffs stay up most of the time.
  • A2 is an AoE at 3.8× ATK that also fills her own Turn Meter by 5% per living enemy, so in wave content she cycles fast.
  • A1 hits twice, each hit with a 15% (25% booked) chance of 30% Decrease SPD for 2 turns — some real utility against bosses.
  • Rare rarity: cheap to level and ascend compared to Epics.

Weaknesses

  • Weak base stats: 1 365 ATK and 859 DEF at 6★ — she hits softly and dies quickly.
  • Every buff is self-only; she brings no team support and no debuff beyond a low-chance Decrease SPD.
  • Poor ratings: 1.0 in Chimera and Hard, 1.5 in Doom Tower and Faction Wars.
  • Explicitly not recommended for PvP, neither 1v1 nor 3v3.

Where to use

Her best (and only decent) spot is Hydra at 2.5 — long fights let Counterattack and Increase ATK actually pay off. Then Clan Boss, Arena and dungeons at 2.0, meaning early-game filler with some damage and an occasional Decrease SPD. Doom Tower and Faction Wars sit at 1.5, with Faction Wars being the one place she may genuinely hold a slot. Chimera and Hard are 1.0 — skip them.

Stats and gear

Priority: ATK% (gloves, chest), SPD boots, Critical Rate up to ~100%, then Critical Damage. Rough targets: 170–200 SPD for dungeons and Faction Wars, and 150–200 ACC if you actually want the Decrease SPD to land (Hydra needs far more and is not worth it on her). Fill the rest with HP% and DEF% — she dies to the first AoE otherwise. Sets: Speed plus damage sets; from the build list, equip the Orb of Transfixion relic.

Masteries and blessings

From the build sheet take Invigorated and Targetfinder, then complete a standard PvE damage spread in the Offense tree with a couple of defensive picks for survivability, since she is fragile and will not reach wave two without them. Skip any PvP setup. Blessings are the last thing to spend on a Rare filler — a cheap damage blessing at most, nothing more.

Tombs

If you do book her: A3 first, because rank 2 cuts the cooldown from 5 to 4 and keeps Counterattack plus Increase ATK up far more often. Then A2, whose rank 5 also gives −1 cooldown. A1 comes last — ranks 4 and 5 raise the Decrease SPD chance from 15% to 25%. Realistically, save your Rare Tomes for a champion you will keep.

Verdict

Misericord is a one-slot Faction Wars body and an early-account crutch, nothing more. Once a real damage dealer shows up, she becomes food — and that is her best use.
