Miscreated Monster — guide
Guide: Miscreated Monster
In short
Miscreated Monster is an Epic Attack champion from the Undead Hordes faction, but plays as a top-tier support with HP-based damage. He brings massive AoE stuns, fat shields for the team, and self-sustain, while passively boosting ally HP in the Arena. A top Epic for Faction Wars and Clan Boss – build him and invest skill tomes.
Strengths
- Massive control — A2 has a 50% chance to AoE stun, and A1 can double-stun single targets.
- Huge shield output — A2 gives all allies a shield equal to 25% of damage dealt, A3 grants a clean 50% of ally HP as shield, both lasting 3 turns.
- Passive Fear — when a shielded ally is hit, the attacker gets Fear for 1 turn. In defense teams, this creates constant disruption.
- Self-contained survival — A3 heals himself for 50% and applies a 15% Regeneration buff, while his base HP allows stacking tanky stats.
- Arena HP boost — passively increases all allies' HP by 33% in Arena, making your team significantly thicker.
Weaknesses
- No debuff cleanse or real healing — shields and control only; if enemies ignore shields or go through, the team is vulnerable.
- Low base Speed (95) — requires serious SPD gear to cycle turns reliably, or he'll be lapped.
- Mediocre damage without crit — HP scaling alone isn't amazing; you need Crit Rate and Crit Damage to make his shields huge.
- Useless vs stun-immune or Frost Spider — his entire control kit gets shut down by block debuffs or high resistance.
Where to use
Best areas: Faction Wars (4.0) — absolute carry; Arena (3.5) and Clan Boss (3.5) — AoE stun and constant shields shine. Spider’s Den and general dungeons (3.0) are solid with the A2 shield saving runs. In Hydra (2.5) and Hard Dungeons (2.0) he falls off due to head mechanics and cleanse, but still usable. Chimera (3.0) works as a secondary team controller.
Stats and gear
Stat priority: HP% (stack up to 60k+), Speed (170–190 minimum, 200+ better), Accuracy (200–250 for dungeons/Arena). Crit Rate (70–100%) and Crit Damage (150%+) are very useful because A2 shield scales with damage. Recommended sets: Life, Shield, Immortal for tankiness; Divine Life or Resilience for extra HP; Deflection for occasional debuff reflect; Bloodthirst for self-healing. End-game can mix Immortal with Relentless for more turns.
Masteries and blessings
Mastery trees: Offense for damage and control, Support for sustain. Key masteries: Targetfinder (increases debuff chance), Gathering Momentum (Speed on crits), Invigorated (additional heal when shielded), Expeditious Exploitation (cooldown reduction on kills). Blessings: Orb of Transfixion extends stun duration; Wand of Submission for lock-down and turn meter reduction; Perched Shadow for extra durability.
Tomes
Books are a priority. Max A2 (Thunderstorm) first for the cooldown reduction – more frequent AoE stun and shield. Then A3 (He's Alive!) for lower cooldown, making his self-sustain and team shield nearly constant. A1 can be booked last for higher stun chance. He’s worth fully booking.
Verdict
An incredibly durable Epic Attack champion that functions as a support-control powerhouse. A must-build for Faction Wars and a superb pick for Arena and Clan Boss. Invest your resources and tomes – you will not regret it.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
