In short
Skink is a Rare Magic Attack champion from the Lizardmen. He is a single-target nuker who ignores shields and stacks Decrease DEF into Heal Reduction for a guaranteed-crit follow-up. Our verdict is blunt: food — only build him for the very early game or as a Faction Wars body.
Strengths
- Sliding Strike ignores Shield and Block Damage, so shielded targets do not stop him.
- Choking Venom places 30% Decrease DEF for 2 turns, and if the target is already under Decrease DEF it adds 50% Heal Reduction.
- Catalyze deals critical damage to targets under Heal Reduction — a clean A2 into A3 combo.
- Aura: +30% Ally Attack for Magic champions in all battles, which can matter in an all-Magic Faction Wars team.
- Cheap to book as a Rare, and duplicate copies for skill upgrades are easy to come by.
Weaknesses
- Thin base stats: 1,310 ATK, 826 DEF, 93 SPD — slow and squishy for an Attack role.
- Ratings bottom out: 1.0 in Clan Boss, Hydra, dungeons, Hard mode and Doom Tower.
- Pure single-target damage with no team utility beyond the aura.
- Both debuffs sit on one skill with a 50% base chance.
Where to use
By his own standards he is least bad in Chimera (2.0), Arena (2.0) and Faction Wars (2.0): there he can finish a target under Heal Reduction or feed the aura to a Magic squad. Skip Clan Boss, Hydra, dungeons, Hard mode and Doom Tower (1.0 each) — his damage and survivability are far too low there.
Stats and gear
If you use him anyway: push C.RATE to ~100% first, then ATK% and C.DMG. Rough targets: 2,500–3,000 ATK, 100% C.RATE, 120–150% C.DMG, 170–190 SPD, 150–200 ACC so Choking Venom actually lands. Gloves C.RATE or C.DMG, chest ATK%, boots SPD, banner ACC or ATK. Artifact-wise, plain attack and crit rate pieces are enough, as the profile notes; the relic to slot is Malefic Talon.
Masteries and blessings
Offense tree: Pierce Defenses as the core pick, then the usual nuker spread — crit rate, crit damage, attack and finishing bonus. Support and Defense are not worth the scrolls. Do not spend blessings on him at all; the resource is better saved.
Tomes
If tomes go in, do Choking Venom first: levels 4–5 add +10% and +15% debuff chance and level 6 cuts one turn of cooldown, which is what makes the Catalyze combo reliable. Catalyze second, purely for the -1 cooldown.
Verdict
Fodder. Keep him for Faction Wars filler or as food — your resources earn more elsewhere.

Raid Shadow Legends' Skink is a hero from the "Gaellen Pact" alliance of the "Lizardmen" faction. His main role in the team is Attack. With his attacking skills, he breaks through enemy shields, applying Decrease DEF and Healing Reduction debuffs to them. This hero can be useful in some battles, for example in Citadels. Artifacts for Attack and C.RATE suit him.
