Guide: Skirmisher

In short

Skirmisher is a Rare Attack champion of the Barbarians with Void affinity, and her whole kit is three things: a double hit that gains 15% damage against unbuffed targets, a crit-based turn-meter cut, and an AoE buff strip. She only really shows up in Arena offence (2.5/5) and Faction Wars (2.0/5). Build priority is low — the site verdict is "Vault (fusion)" and "Food", so invest only if you need FW bodies or a cheap Arena nuker.

Strengths

  • Double Damage hits twice and adds 15% more damage if the target has no buffs — decent burst against stripped enemies in Arena.
  • Magic Arrow cuts 20% turn meter on a critical hit, which can break an enemy's turn order.
  • Decisive Shot is an AoE that removes one random buff from every enemy — handy against shields and buffs in an offence team.
  • Void affinity: no weak colour matchups, her damage lands neutrally against everything.

Weaknesses

  • Only 1 211 base ATK and 94 SPD — weak as a nuker even for a Rare.
  • The strip is one random buff per target, not a full cleanse; shields and immunity often survive.
  • No debuffs and no boss utility at all: Hydra 1.0, Dungeons 1.0, Hard 1.0.
  • Needs real gear (100% C.RATE, high C.DMG) for damage an Epic would do with less.

Where to use

  • Arena (2.5/5) — offence only: AoE buff strip plus single-target finishing.
  • Faction Wars (2.0/5) — her main home, filling a Barbarian slot.
  • Clan Boss (2.0/5) — a damage body only; no poisons or decrements.
  • Chimera (1.5/5), Doom Tower (1.5/5) — low floors at best.
  • Hydra (1.0), Dungeons (1.0), Hard mode (1.0) — don't spend the slot.

Stats and gear

  • C.RATE up to 100% — without crits Magic Arrow never cuts turn meter.
  • C.DMG as high as you can get, aim for 200%+.
  • ATK% — the multiplier behind all her damage.
  • SPD around 170–190 so she moves before enemy nukers.
  • HP/DEF enough to survive to her turn.
  • No ACC needed: buff removal isn't checked against Resistance.

Sets: Attack, Lifesteal, Speed. Speed + Attack for Arena, Lifesteal in Faction Wars if your team has no healer.

Masteries and blessings

Attack tree for damage plus Support for accuracy and survival. From the build list: Invigorated, Targetfinder, Gathering Momentum. Relics: Tempus Sanguinis and Orb of Transfixion. Skip blessings — save the essence for a champion that stays in your roster.

Tomes

Don't book food. If you are building her for Faction Wars anyway, take Decisive Shot first: levels 5 and 6 each cut 1 cooldown, so the AoE strip comes up more often. Then Magic Arrow (level 6, -1 cooldown).

Verdict

Fusion food and vault filler: her only niche is Arena offence and Faction Wars. Build her if you have nothing else for Barbarians, and don't put tomes or blessings into her.

The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
