Interceptor — guide
Guide: Interceptor
In short
Interceptor is a Rare Defense champion of the High Elves with DEF-based damage and a debuff kit: Decrease SPD, Sleep, Weaken and a Turn Meter cut. She is at her best in dungeons and early Doom Tower, where cheap control is welcome. Build her for defense, speed and accuracy — and expect nothing more.
Strengths
- All three skills scale off DEF, so defense gives her both damage and survivability.
- Her A2 has a 45% chance to place Sleep for 1 turn, and if Sleep fails it places Weaken 15% for 2 turns instead — a built-in safety net.
- Her A3 reduces the Turn Meter of all enemies by 15%, hitting the whole wave at once.
- The A1 Decrease SPD 15% for 2 turns is a simple, useful debuff for dungeon waves.
- Rare rarity: cheap to book and easy to ascend.
Weaknesses
- Base Speed of 84 is very low — without Speed boots she barely takes turns.
- DEF 1 123 at 6★ means her DEF-based damage stays modest.
- She brings nothing to allies: no shields, no heals, no buffs — the Defense role is purely debuff-driven here.
- Sleep breaks on the first hit, so the control is fragile; in Clan Boss, Hydra and Arena she is close to useless.
Where to use
By the site author's ratings her best spots are dungeons (2/5) and Chimera (2/5), where the Turn Meter cut and debuffs still do something. Doom Tower and Faction Wars come next (1.5/5 each) — in Faction Wars she can fill a cheap control slot for the High Elves. Clan Boss, Hydra, Arena and hard content sit at 1/5, so keep her out of those.
Stats and gear
Priority: DEF% → SPD → ACC → HP%. Rough targets for dungeons and Doom Tower: Speed 170–200, Accuracy 150–200 (below that her debuffs get resisted constantly), Defense 2 000+, HP 30 000+. Speed boots are mandatory, DEF% on chest and gloves, DEF ring, HP amulet, Accuracy banner. The build list names no artifact sets, only the Tempus Sanguinis relic — equip that. For sets, go Speed, Perception and Defense: the first two cover speed and accuracy, the third tops up DEF.
Masteries and blessings
Take the Support and Defense trees — you want accuracy, speed and survivability, not damage. The build list recommends Gathering Momentum, so pick that up first. After that, finish the usual accuracy and speed picks so her debuffs land reliably. Blessings on a Rare are a low priority; any basic survivability blessing is fine.
Tombs
Book the A3 first: it has a single level and gives cooldown -1, the cheapest upgrade in her kit. Then put books into the A2, which gets cooldown -1 at level 7 and +5% debuff chance at level 6. The A1 is last — it barely matters.
Verdict
The site author's call is blunt: food. She is a workable pick only for beginners in dungeons and Faction Wars; otherwise she is fodder or bench material.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
