Killer of Magicians — guide
Guide: Killer of Magicians
In short
Killer of Magicians is a Common Dark Elves Attack champion with Spirit affinity. His whole kit is a single-target hit with a 10% chance to put the enemy's skills on cooldown, backed by 881 ATK and 102 SPD at 6★. Build priority: none — he is food, not a unit you invest in.
Strengths
- The A1 technically does something: a 10% chance to reset the target's skill cooldowns can occasionally annoy enemies.
- Common rarity: cheap to level, easy to obtain, perfect material for ranking up and upgrading the rarity of real champions.
- Spirit affinity is neutral against most content, so he never eats an affinity damage penalty.
- Faction Wars is his best rating (1.5/5) — he can fill an empty slot on the early stages of Dark Elves crypt.
Weaknesses
- One skill only: no AOE, no buffs, no debuffs, no passive — nothing to do in a real fight.
- 6★ stats are tiny: 8,265 HP, 881 ATK, 771 DEF, 102 SPD. He neither kills nor survives.
- 10% is not control: on average one cooldown reset per ten hits, with no guarantee it matters.
- Tomes only add +5% damage per level — there is nothing worth boosting.
Where to use
The author's ratings say it all: Faction Wars 1.5, while Clan Boss, Hydra, Chimera, Arena, dungeons, Hard mode and Doom Tower all sit at 0.5, with 1.0 overall. The only real use is early Dark Elves Faction Wars stages where any warm body fills the slot. Do not bring him to Clan Boss, Hydra, Chimera, Arena or dungeons, and definitely not to Doom Tower.
Stats and gear
No build list is given — and rightly so. If you absolutely must fill a Faction Wars slot, aim for speed and attack so he lands at least one hit: SPD 170–200, as much ATK% as possible, C.RATE 70–100%, C.DMG 100%+. Accuracy is not worth building for a single 10% effect. Cheap sets will do: Speed + Offense, ATK% gloves, C.DMG amulet, SPD boots.
Masteries and blessings
No mastery list is provided, because spending scrolls here is a waste. If you are levelling him for Faction Wars, take the Attack tree with basic damage bonuses and put the rest into survival. Do not spend blessings at all — a Common champion is not worth a single one.
Tomes
Books only give +5% damage on levels 2–5; they do not improve the cooldown-reset chance or the skill's cooldown. Verdict: never book a Common champion — those books belong on epics and legendaries. If you insist, book the A1, but the gain is minimal.
Verdict
Food. One weak skill and no stats — keep him for rank-ups, not for fighting.
