Vulpin — guide
Guide: Vulpin
In short
Vulpin is an Uncommon Attack champion from the Undead Hordes with Force affinity. He is fodder: low base stats, no damage, and a kit that only offers Decrease DEF on the A1 and an Increase ATK buff on the A2. Don't invest beyond a warm body for the earliest Faction Wars stages.
Strengths
- A1 places Decrease DEF 30% for 2 turns with a 60% chance (75% once booked) — a real debuff for single-target focus.
- Alpha gives the whole team Increase ATK 25% for 2 turns, so the buff helps everyone, not just him.
- The second level of Alpha cuts its cooldown by 1, which makes the buff uptime acceptable.
- Cheap way to fill a hole in an Undead Hordes Faction Wars team early on.
Weaknesses
- 87 SPD and 1189 ATK — he neither moves first nor hits hard.
- Low HP and DEF: any AoE removes him from the field.
- Only two skills — no AoE, no control, no passive.
- 0 ACC in the base kit, so the A1 debuff will miss constantly until you gear for it.
Where to use
Faction Wars (1.5) is his best spot, as an attack buffer for an early crypt team. Dungeons (1.0) only at the very first stages. Clan Boss (1.5) at best as an early Increase ATK filler. Arena, Hydra, Chimera, Hard mode and Doom Tower (0.5) are not his content — leave him out.
Stats and gear
- Priority: SPD first, then ACC (~150–200 so the A1 lands), then HP%/DEF% so he survives to a second turn.
- Sets: Speed, Accuracy, Perception, Life.
- Skip crit stats — he does no meaningful damage, and gear on him is wasted resources.
Masteries and blessings
If you must, take the Support tree for Precision (ACC) plus a couple of defensive masteries so he doesn't fold to the first AoE. A full mastery build on him is pointless — scrolls belong on real champions. Blessing choice is negligible on an Uncommon; grab something for survivability and move on.
Tomes
Only two book upgrades matter: Alpha's second level (cooldown -1) and the A1's fourth level (+15% debuff chance). If tomes are spare, do Alpha first, then the A1. In practice the books go to someone else.
Verdict
Fodder. Use him as food or as an early Faction Wars filler — there is nothing here worth building around.
