Zelotah — guide
Guide: Zelotah
In short
Zelotah is an Epic Support from the Undead Hordes who earns his slot with two things: a team-wide Shield with Regeneration and mass Sleep. He shines in Faction Wars, works on Arena as a Resistance aura carrier and offers situational control in dungeons. Build him around HP and Speed first, with Accuracy only to land Sleep.
Strengths
- Hard Shell puts a Shield worth 20% of his HP on all allies for 3 turns plus a 15% Regeneration for 2 turns — reliable protection on every rotation.
- The Shield scales off HP, and his base HP is solid at 20 640 at 6★.
- Nightmares is an AoE Sleep: 50% base, 75% against targets that already carry a debuff — with any debuffer on the team the control becomes near-guaranteed.
- Aura of +70 Resistance to allies in Arena is a rare and genuinely useful tool against debuff comps.
Weaknesses
- 95 Speed and 1 101 Defense make him slow and soft — focused damage kills him fast.
- Sleep breaks on any damage, so he clashes with AoE damage dealers who wake everything up.
- His skill damage scales off Attack, and 826 Attack means he brings no damage at all.
- Against Hydra and Chimera he is close to dead weight; those fights want different tools.
Where to use
Best area is Faction Wars (3.5/5): Shield and Regeneration carry survivability while Sleep relieves pressure on waves. Next come Arena (2.5) and Doom Tower (2.5) as a Resistance aura and spot control. On Clan Boss (2.5) he is not a core pick — the Shield helps, but his CB utility is thin. Dungeons and Hard mode (2.0) and Hydra (2.0) only if you have nobody better. Chimera (1.5) — skip.
Stats and gear
Priority: HP → Speed → Accuracy. Rough targets: 60 000+ HP, 170–200 Speed so Shield and Regeneration stay up permanently, 150–200 Accuracy for Sleep in dungeons and 250+ for Hard Doom Tower. Crit Rate and Crit Damage are irrelevant. Recommended sets: Shield, HP (or Immortal) and Speed — a 4-piece Shield adds extra cushion, Speed makes sure he moves before the enemy.
Masteries and blessings
Support and Defense trees. From the recommended build prioritize In For The Kill, Expeditious Exploitation and Gathering Momentum. Relics from the build: Molten Deathbell and Perched Shadow.
Tombs
Book Nightmares first: its final level cuts cooldown by 1 and raises the debuff chance, which is what makes the control actually work. Then Hard Shell (+5% Shield per level). The site author's note: books are situational — if he is not a core hero, there is no rush.
Verdict
A good Epic worth leveling: Shield, Regeneration and Sleep make him a solid member of any Undead Hordes team and a comfortable Faction Wars pick.
