Genzin — guide
Guide: Genzin
In short
Genzin is a Legendary Attack champion from the Skinwalkers with Spirit affinity. He lives in the Arena and in modes that need a single-target nuke: his A3 ignores Unkillable and Shield, and his A2 drops Decrease DEF on the whole enemy team. Build him purely for damage — crit rate to cap, then crit damage and attack.
Strengths
- A3 ignores Unkillable and Shield — a direct answer to "unkillable" Arena cores and shielded dungeon waves.
- Massive turn meter ramp: A1 gives +6% per hit (18% per cast), A2 gives +10% per crit hit, A3 gives +30% and +60% if the target is left at 50% HP or less. He takes roughly twice as many turns as a normal nuker.
- A kill with A3 reduces the cooldown of A2 and A3 by 1 turn — a snowball in wave clearing.
- A2 is an AoE 60% Decrease DEF for 2 turns at a 75% chance — strong utility for the whole team.
- Bushido passive: +10 SPD and +50 RES whenever your team has fewer champions than the enemy, and always in boss fights — free stats in solo content and against bosses.
Weaknesses
- Fragile base: 1,553 ATK and only 859 DEF — a stray AoE can delete him.
- A2 hits all enemies at 3.8× ATK, which is modest for a Legendary nuker; the real damage is single-target only.
- Decrease DEF still has to land — without accuracy, A2 loses half its value.
- Bushido does nothing in an even 5v5 fight — in a standard team the passive is dead weight.
Where to use
Best: Arena (4/5) — a single-target nuke that goes through Unkillable and Shield; Hard-mode content (4/5) and Faction Wars (4/5), where your team is often short-handed and Bushido turns itself on. Chimera and Doom Tower are average (3.5/5) as a finisher. Clan Boss, Hydra and regular dungeons are weak (3/5) — those want sustained single-target or AoE damage, not mobility.
Stats and gear
Priority: 100% C.RATE → 200%+ C.DMG → 4,000–4,500 ATK → 170–200 SPD. Add 200–250 ACC if you rely on A2 in Arena and Doom Tower. Don't chase HP or DEF — that's not his job.
- Sets: Savage, Cruel, Fatal, Offense, Crit Damage.
- Relics: Malefic Talon, Irethi Coronet, Essence Quencher.
- Gauntlets — C.DMG, chest — ATK%, boots — SPD.
Masteries and blessings
- Offense tree: Pierce Defenses, Foekiller, Piercing Strike, Boss Slayer.
- Second tree — Defense for Arena and Faction Wars survivability, or Support if you need accuracy for A2.
- Blessings: Cruelty for boss and general damage, Brimstone as the Arena option.
Tombs
Book A2 first: it gains debuff chance (+10%, +15%) and −1 cooldown — the biggest gain per book. Then A3, your main cannon, where every book is +5% damage. Leave A1 for last.
Verdict
A simple, no-nonsense nuke with Shield and Unkillable bypass that pays off in Arena and Faction Wars. Build him.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
