Guide: Doom Tower

In short

Doom Tower is a monthly PvE mode: 120 floors on Normal and the same on Hard, with a boss on every tenth floor. It pays out chests with artefacts and accessories, epic and legendary champion fragments, Silver Keys for Secret Rooms and upgrade materials. People farm it for the fragments and for high-quality gear — it is one of the most reliable loot sources in the game.

Mechanics

  • Floors 1–120 are enemy waves, and every tenth floor is a boss. On Hard the same bosses return with bigger stats and extra mechanics.
  • Bosses rotate: Magma Dragon, Frost Spider, Scarab King, Nether Spider, Celestial Griffin, Eternal Dragon, Dark Fae and Bommal. Each one punishes something different — poison and burns, reviving fallen allies, stealing your buffs, counterattacks, Turn Meter games.
  • Silver Keys drop from boss chests and are spent on Secret Rooms, where the team must fit a restriction: Rares only, Banner Lords only, Attack champions only and so on.
  • Several bosses are built around one specific answer — Block Revive, buff removal, cleanse or Turn Meter control — and raw damage will not carry you through them.

What your team needs

Ballpark for Normal: 170+ SPD across the team, 200+ on your lead and supports, 200–250 ACC on debuffers (300+ on Hard) and enough HP/DEF to survive poison and burns. Key effects: Decrease DEF and Weaken for damage, Block Revive against bosses that revive, Block Buffs and Heal Reduction against healing waves, plus cleanse, heals/shields and Turn Meter reduction. The standard core is 1–2 damage dealers, a debuffer, a healer with cleanse and someone with Block Revive or hard control.

Teams

Starter: Kael, Geomancer, Doompriest, Stag Knight, Rector Drath — poison and max-HP damage, Decrease DEF, cleanse, heals and a revive carry most Normal floors.

Mid-game: Deacon Armstrong, Fahrakin the Fat, Royal Guard, Godseeker Aniri, Whisper — SPD lead with Decrease DEF and Turn Meter control, ally attacks and HP burn, max-HP nukes and a reliable revive for boss floors.

Endgame: Duchess Lilitu, Mithrala Lifebane, Gnut, Acrizia, Marius the Gallant — cleanse and buffs, Hex, max-HP damage and a dedicated boss killer; this clears Hard comfortably.

Common mistakes

  • Walking into a reviving boss without Block Revive and getting stuck in an endless loop.
  • Too little ACC on debuffers: Decrease DEF and poison never land and your damage collapses.
  • Glass-cannon damage dealers that die in the waves before the boss on Hard.
  • Skipping Secret Rooms — that is fragments and keys left on the table.

Tips

  • Push Normal to floor 120 first; early Hard floors pay less than late Normal ones.
  • Lifesteal on damage dealers and Immortal or Speed on supports is a solid baseline; Toxic and Stun sets do real work on waves.
  • ACC and SPD masteries on your debuffers are worth more than extra damage nodes.
  • Bring buff removal or Block Buffs against bosses that pile up buffs, or the fight drags on forever.
  • Set auto-battle priorities in advance: debuffs and buffs first, otherwise your damage dealers dump their key skills on trash waves.
