Guide: Spirit Keep

In short

Spirit Keep is the potion dungeon for Spirit potions — the small, greater and superior ones you need to ascend Spirit-affinity champions. It is one of the most farmed keeps, because potions burn fast. The catch is the boss: it heals every one of its turns and wipes its own debuffs, so a pure damage team only works while your damage outruns the healing.

Mechanics

  • Passive healing: the boss restores HP at the start of each of its turns. Without Heal Reduction the fight becomes a race you lose on high stages.
  • Living Source: the boss cleanses every debuff from itself and gains Block Debuffs. Your Decrease DEF, Weaken and Heal Reduction vanish at that moment and have to be re-applied.
  • Team-wide attack: an AoE hit on all five champions. The classic description says its damage scales with the target's HP pool, so one overgrown HP tank does not protect the team — bring mitigation: Decrease ATK, shields, Block Damage.
  • Huge HP pool: enemy MAX HP damage and poison do a lot of work here.
  • Waves: on high stages the waves before the boss kill more teams than the boss itself.

What your team needs

  • Heal Reduction with close to full uptime — the key debuff. ACC around 200–250 for mid stages, 250–300 for the top ones.
  • Decrease DEF + Weaken so your damage actually converts into kills.
  • SPD roughly 170–220 mid-game, 250+ late: the boss must not get free healing turns.
  • Survivability: DEF%/HP% main stats, Decrease ATK, shields or Block Damage for the AoE turns.
  • Re-application: plan around the cleanse — your debuffer has to refresh after Living Source, not cast once.
  • Optional: a cleanser if the waves stack debuffs on you.

Teams

  • Budget: Kael (poison and damage), Venomage (Heal Reduction and poison), Stag Knight (Decrease DEF and ATK), Mausoleum Mage (cleanse, Block Debuffs, heal), Godseeker Aniri (heal, revive, buff extension). Works because Venomage keeps the healing shut while Stag Knight makes the damage stick.
  • Mid-game: Geomancer (punishes the boss for its AoE), Venomage, Uugo (heal and Decrease DEF), Fahrakin the Fat (Ally Attack, HP Burn), Royal Guard (enemy MAX HP nuke). Geomancer plus MAX HP damage comfortably out-paces the passive heal.
  • Endgame: Acrizia, Gnut, Ninja, Siphi the Lost Bride, Cardiel. Two MAX HP nukers and Ninja's damage simply outrun the healing, while Siphi and Cardiel keep everyone alive. With strong gear you can skip Heal Reduction entirely.

Common mistakes

  • No Heal Reduction at all — the run drags to the turn limit or the boss outheals you.
  • Low ACC on the debuffer, so nothing lands — and the boss cleanses on top of that.
  • Casting debuffs once and expecting them to survive Living Source.
  • Building one huge HP tank and no Decrease ATK — the AoE still deletes the rest of the team.
  • Leaving auto-battle priorities untouched so the Heal Reduction skill fires at the wrong time.

Tips

  • Lifesteal or Immortal on your damage dealers keeps them topped up without a dedicated healer.
  • Relentless on enemy MAX HP nukers gives extra turns — extra damage against a self-healing boss.
  • Accuracy or Perception sets on the debuffer, Speed sets on everyone else.
  • Toxic and poison sets work, but remember the cleanse: reapply instead of stacking once.
  • Set skill priorities in auto-battle — Heal Reduction first, useless debuff skills disabled.
  • Masteries that add boss damage on your DPS matter more here than defensive ones.
