Force Keep — guide

In short

Force Keep is the dungeon that drops Force potions, the ascension material for Force-affinity champions. Every run also pays silver, and higher stages drop better potions (lesser, greater, superior). You will always need more of them: ascension is a stat boost nearly every champion wants, so this is a dungeon you keep coming back to all game.

Mechanics

• Waves of regular enemies come first, then boss Kara.
• An AoE attack that applies Decrease ATK. That debuff cannot be resisted — RES does nothing against it.
• “Underground Storm”: another AoE, this one can Stun the whole team. Also not resistible.
• Passive “Mighty Armor”: the boss carries a big DEF boost, so plain hits do very little to it.
• Numbers scale with the stage, the kit stays the same — the higher you go, the harder the AoEs hit.

What your team needs

• ACC: roughly 150–200 for mid stages, 250+ for stage 20 and up — otherwise Decrease DEF and poisons get resisted. Exact value depends on the stage.
• SPD: support around 190–220 so cleanse and Block Debuffs are ready before each AoE; DPS around 160–180 is fine.
• Survivability: 30k+ HP or 2.5k+ DEF on support, or two AoEs in a row end the run.
• Must-have effects: Decrease DEF, Poison or HP Burn (damage that ignores the boss's DEF), a healer or Lifesteal, Block Debuffs and a cleanse.
• Useful: Weaken, Increase DEF, shields, enemy MAX HP damage.
• Not needed: Block Revive and Heal Reduction — the boss does not revive or heal.

Teams

• Budget: Kael (poison), Coldheart (damage based on the boss's MAX HP), Deacon Armstrong (SPD lead + Decrease DEF), Venomage (more poison), Mausoleum Mage (cleanse + Block Debuffs). Cheap, and all about damage over time.
• Mid-game: Fahrakin the Fat (ally attacks + HP Burn), Geomancer (HP Burn and damage that ignores DEF), Uugo (Decrease DEF + support), Deacon Armstrong (speed and DEF break), Godseeker Aniri (heal + revive). More damage while staying alive.
• Endgame: Ninja (HP Burn), Acrizia (enemy MAX HP damage), Gnut (single-target damage), Siphi the Lost Bride (heal and support), Mithrala Lifebane (support and debuffs). Fast, safe clears without relying on raw ATK.

Common mistakes

• Loading the team with raw ATK nukers: against that DEF buff their damage turns into nothing.
• Ignoring ACC — Decrease DEF and poisons never land and the fight drags until the AoEs finish you.
• No cleanse or Block Debuffs: the Stun takes your healer out for a turn and the next storm kills the rest.
• Full auto with bad cooldown order — the cleanse fires early and is still on cooldown when the storm lands.

Tips

• Warmaster or Giant Slayer masteries on everyone: procs ignore the boss's DEF and make up a big share of your damage.
• Lifesteal on the damage dealers, or a Relentless set on the healer, keeps the team topped up without a dedicated healer.
• Accuracy or Perception sets to reach the ACC target without sacrificing SPD.
• Toxic on a support adds free poison stacks and speeds up the kill.
• Farm the highest stage you clear reliably: potion quality matters more than a slightly faster run.
