Guide: Spider's Den

In short

Spider's Den is the accessory dungeon: rings, amulets and banners drop here, along with a big pile of silver, which is why it is farmed non-stop. You face the Spider Queen and her swarm of spiderlings, and on higher stages the fight is not about out-damaging her but about clearing the swarm and chewing through a huge HP bar with max-HP damage and HP Burn.

Mechanics

  • Poison Splash — hits the whole team; champions that have Poison on them take extra damage, so debuffs sitting on your side make that AoE worse.
  • Exhaustion — hits everyone and cuts turn meters; if a meter is emptied, that champion can be put to Sleep. A fast, cleansed team refuses to let that chain happen.
  • Arachnophobia (passive) — summons spiderlings at the start of the round, at the start of each of your champions' turns and again at the end of her own turn, up to 10 alive at once. At the start of her turn she eats whatever is left: heals herself and gains Attack for each one. The swarm is both the damage source and her fuel.
  • Stubborn Healing and Strong Immunity (passives) — she ignores Heal Reduction, takes reduced damage from Poison, and is immune to Stun, Freeze, Sleep, Provoke, Block Active Skills, Fear, True Fear, HP swap, HP balance and cooldown increase. Controlling the Queen is wasted slots.
  • Spiderlings can still be provoked and controlled — that is your main survival lever.
  • Healing from damage dealt (Lifesteal set, heal-for-a-percentage skills) is heavily reduced here, to roughly a third — do not plan around it.

What your team needs

  • Speed: 190-220+ across the board, with supports moving first.
  • Accuracy: around 200-250 for stage 20, more for 24-25 and Hard mode, or Decrease DEF, Weaken and HP Burn will not land.
  • Bulk: 35-45k+ HP or serious DEF plus a Shield or Ally Protect; the spiderlings hit far harder than they look.
  • Damage that ignores Defense: HP Burn on the spiderlings (their HP pools are enormous) and max-HP hits on the Queen.
  • Real sustain: cleanse, Shields, Ally Protect, a revive.
  • Debuffs that matter: Decrease DEF and Weaken on the Queen, Provoke on spiderlings. Skip Heal Reduction, Block Revive and Poison.

Teams

  • Starter: Coldheart, Deacon Armstrong, Stag Knight, Vogoth, Godseeker Aniri — Coldheart chips the Queen with max-HP damage, Deacon and Stag bring Decrease DEF and speed, Vogoth soaks hits and heals through his passive, Aniri revives and extends buffs.
  • Mid-game: Geomancer, Coldheart, Uugo, Vogoth, Deacon Armstrong — Geomancer's HP Burn keeps the swarm dead, Uugo cleanses and revives, Vogoth keeps spiderlings provoked while the Queen gets worn down.
  • Endgame: Acrizia, Gnut, Cardiel, Mithrala Lifebane, Siphi the Lost Bride — two max-HP nukers plus three layers of cleanse, shield and revive; the run becomes a fast burn with almost no way to collapse.

Common mistakes

  • Building a Poison team (Kael, Venomage and friends): the Queen takes reduced Poison damage and ignores Heal Reduction.
  • Trying to lock her down with Stun, Freeze, Provoke or Sleep.
  • Letting the swarm reach ten — she eats them, heals, stacks Attack and the run snowballs out of control.
  • Relying on Lifesteal instead of a real healer or Shields.
  • Running a slow team with no turn meter control and no AoE clear.

Tips

  • Farm stage 20 as soon as it is stable; 24-25 and Hard mode are for chasing specific accessory pieces later.
  • One good HP Burn source is worth a whole DPS slot: spiderlings die on their own and stop feeding the Queen.
  • Gear: Speed and Accuracy on supports, Immortal, Protection or Stoneskin on your tank. Toxic is useless here, Stun only makes sense against spiderlings.
  • On auto, set priorities so mass cleanse and HP Burn go first and Queen damage comes second.
  • Do not spend slots on Heal Reduction or Block Revive — take another Shield, cleanse or turn meter cut instead.

Spider's Den is a dungeon in Raid: Shadow Legends. It contains 20 floors. You will face the Spider Queen herself and 10 spiderlings. You need Champions with mass survivability and a tank. You need 200+ RES on the spiderlings, and for the Spider Queen you need Champions with Turn Meter reduction and MAX HP-based hits. The dungeon is good for farming silver.

Spider Queen Skills Overview.

Poison Splash. Attacks all enemies. Enemies under a Poison debuff receive 15% more damage.

Decrease Max HP. Attacks all enemies. Has a 70% chance to reduce the targets' Turn Meter by 30%. If the Turn Meter is reduced to zero, places a Sleep debuff for one turn. Cooldown: 4 turns.

Arachnophobia. Passive Skill. Summons 6 spiders at the start of the round. Summons 2 spiders at the start of each enemy team hero's turn. Summons 4 spiders at the end of her turn. The Spider Queen can have up to 10 spiders at once. At the start of each of her turns, she devours the remaining spiders. If she devours spiders during the current turn, she will not do so on the next turn. For each devoured spider, she restores 3% of her MAX HP and increases her ATK by 10%. When the Spider Queen or Spiders attack, Lifesteal artifacts and skills that heal based on damage dealt restore only 35% of the stated healing amount. Cooldown: 2 turns

Persistent Heal. Passive Skill. Immune to Healing Reduction. Receives less damage from Poison.

Sturdy Immunity. Passive skill. Immunity to Stun, Freeze, Sleep, Provoke, Block Active Skills, Fear, True Fear. Also to HP exchange, HP equalization effects, and cooldown increase.

The Spider's location is the most profitable place for getting silver; in terms of difficulty, it is second only to the Fire Knight.
