Fire Knight's Castle — guide
Guide: Fire Knight's Castle
In short
Fire Knight's Castle is a 25-floor dungeon, and the only place to farm the sets Arena nukers are built from: Savage, Crit Damage, Shield, Immunity, Regeneration and Stun. The boss doesn't test your damage as much as your hit count: his Fire Shield soaks a fixed number of hits and comes back on every one of his turns. Farm it as soon as your team breaks the shield reliably — this gear carries you in Arena and against the Clan Boss.
Mechanics
- Three phases per floor: two waves of regular champions of the floor's affinity, then the Fire Knight himself. On high floors the waves include healers and revivers, so bring Heal Reduction and Block Revive or kill them fast.
- Fire Shield (passive): while it's up the boss takes heavily reduced damage, and every hit you land removes one charge. The shield holds a fixed number of hits — a couple on the first floors, around ten on 20+.
- The shield is restored at the start of the boss's turn. Your damage window is the gap between breaking it and his next activation.
- He is immune to control debuffs (Stun, Freeze, Sleep, Provoke) and to cooldown-increase skills, so don't build the team around locking him down.
- His own attacks hit a single target and the whole team and come with debuffs. A squishy damage dealer dies in two or three hits, and without him nobody breaks the shield.
What your team needs
Targets: supports at 200+ SPD, 200–250 ACC on floors 20–25 (more on the very top ones), and enough HP/DEF on everyone to eat his AoE.
- At least three sources of multiple hits: 2–4 hit basic skills, Counterattack, Ally Attack, summons, Reflect Damage.
- Decrease DEF and Weaken so the window after the shield actually counts.
- Decrease ATK and Decrease SPD on the boss, plus Block Debuffs and a cleanser to survive.
- Enemy MAX HP damage (Coldheart, Royal Guard, Husk, Gnut, Acrizia) is the most reliable damage in a short window.
- Don't rely on Poison or HP Burn: DoT ticks are not hits and remove no shield charges.
- For the waves — Heal Reduction and Block Revive.
Teams
- Budget: Deacon Armstrong + Coldheart + Fahrakin the Fat + Stag Knight + Mausoleum Mage. Coldheart and Fahrakin supply the hits (Coldheart also brings MAX HP damage), Deacon and Stag Knight stack Decrease DEF, Mausoleum Mage cleanses and heals.
- Mid-game: Deacon Armstrong + Royal Guard + Husk + Fahrakin the Fat + Uugo. Two MAX HP hitters do the real damage, Fahrakin's Ally Attack strips several shield charges at once, Uugo cleanses and applies Decrease DEF.
- Endgame: Cardiel + Acrizia + Gnut + Coldheart + Siphi the Lost Bride. Cardiel's Ally Attack breaks the shield in one activation, Acrizia and Gnut kill inside the window with MAX HP damage, Siphi keeps everyone alive and blocks debuffs.
Common mistakes
- Building around Poison and HP Burn: they don't break the shield, and damage while it's up is negligible.
- Bringing Stun, Freeze or Provoke for the boss — he's immune; those champions are only for waves.
- Ignoring his turn cadence: you break the shield, keep hitting, and he re-raises it before your nukers act.
- Neglecting ACC or affinity: on high floors the affinity switch turns your Decrease DEF into a resist and your damage into glancing hits.
Tips
- Set auto-battle skill priorities: Ally Attack and multi-hit skills first, single-target nukers after them.
- Take extra-damage-against-boss masteries: you land a lot of hits, so they pay for themselves.
- Gear: Speed and Accuracy on supports, Lifesteal plus high DEF on the front line, Relentless on your multi-hitters for extra activations, Stun for wave clearing.
- Toxic is fine as bonus chip damage, but it never replaces hits on the shield.
- Farm the highest floor you clear without wipes: 6★ drop chances up there are much better, and a slow top-floor run beats a fast low one.

More details
Location Overview
This Dungeon contains a total of 20 floors. Each floor differs from the others in difficulty and the main affinity (element) of the enemies. On the final 20th floor of the Magma Knight's Castle, the player will face enemies belonging to the Force element.
Completing each floor of the Castle consists of three stages: the first and second stages are confrontations with waves of enemies, and the third stage is a direct battle with the Magma Knight.
One of the important features of the Magma Knight is that he uses a powerful Fire Shield skill, which can only be removed by landing 10 hits on the enemy. That is why heroes with multi-attacks are valued in this Dungeon.
Stage 20 Wave Overview
On floor 20 of the Magma Knight's Castle, the player faces two waves with Force heroes.
First wave. Errol, two Gladiators, and two Defenders.
Second wave. Errol, two Gladiators, and two Liches.
Rewards for completing the Magma Knight's Castle
For completing each level of the Magma Knight's Castle, the player can receive artifacts from the sets: Fury, Healing, Immunity, Shield, Critical Damage, Frenzy, Regeneration, Stun, and Cruelty. In addition, the player can receive experience packs (beer), silver, and Mystery and Ancient shards.

Guide to tactics in the Lava Knight's Castle - How to beat stages 8-13-20-25
General Tips
1) Pay attention to the enemies' primary element. For example, on Lava level 20 all enemies, including the Lava Knight, belong to the Force element. Consequently, heroes with the Spirit Affinity will get a big advantage there. But you might want to avoid heroes with the Magic element.
2) Like most bosses in RAID, the Lava Knight has immunity to control debuffs, as well as effects on skill cooldowns and Turn Meter, so heroes whose main advantage is these debuffs should also be avoided.
3) Choose a team of Champions with enough multi-hits to remove the Fire Shield. Champions who deal damage based on max HP and reduce the enemy's Turn Meter will also fit well in the team.
As in many other locations, speed plays an important role in the fight against the Magma Knight. It's important to land as many hits as possible before the Magma Knight delivers his next strike. Therefore, in a team for the Magma Knight, Turn Meter fillers who can speed up other allies will come in handy. As Supports, heroes who can apply Counterattack to allies and Healing Reduction to the knight will be useful. Skills like Reflect Damage, Increase SPD, Increase ATK, and Decrease DEF will also be important. It's very important to pick heroes with multi-hit attacks to remove the Shield from the Magma Knight in time. This Shield withstands 10 hits.
For stage 1-6, breaking the shield is easy. It requires 5 hits, and you have 5 Champions. For stage 7-15, it becomes harder.
To increase the team's survivability, you can bring allies who can apply Decrease ATK and Decrease SPD, as well as buffs — Block Damage, Revive on Death, Increase DEF, Ally Protection, and Shield. Champions who can remove debuffs from allies can also play an important role in a team against Lava Knight.

Completion Tactics
Currently, there are five tactics for completing the Lava Knight's Castle.
Through counterattack.

Mechanics: When your team attacks, the Lava Knight forces it to attack back. When taking hits, he loses his Shield.
Heroes: Valkyrie, Skullcrusher, Reverend.
Through Damage Reflection.

Mechanics: When your team attacks, she takes damage from the Reflect Damage buff, thereby partially losing her Shield.
Key heroes: Khangar, Lyutopyos, Beast of Terror, Adriel, Invader, Panther, Dhukk the Pierced, Anchor, Molly Kellner, Rune Warden.
Via SPD buff and Turn Meter fill.

Mechanics: Your champions take the maximum number of turns during a single turn of the boss, thereby ensuring the Shield is removed.
Key champions: Lysandra, Arbiter, Khatun, Apothecary, Gorgorab, Golden Reaper.
Through Turn Meter control.

Mechanics: The team reduces the boss's Turn Meter so he can't take a turn, which is why the Shield only needs to be removed once.
Key champions: Lysandra, Scyl, Coldheart, Netril, Razen, Grogak.
Through summoning into battle.

Mechanics: The team performs a joint attack, instantly removing the Shield from the Lava Knight.
Key Champions: Lanakis, Longbeard, Cardiel, Advisor, Lady Ethessa, Kryla the Sorceress, Fahrakin the Fat.
Total
The Lava Knight guards the best artifact sets for the Arena, which are used by the best players up to the top spots of the Platinum League, and to get them you will have to try hard. With the necessary Champions, the Lava Knight will not cause you any problems. I wish you good luck in the game with beating the Lava Knight and getting the necessary artifacts.
